Camping in the Uintas

Last Saturday night we went up camping in the Uintas. We went on Sean and Audree's anual friends camping trip. We camped out right passed Kamas. It was soooo cold! Thank goodness Sean and Audree let us all stay in their trailer. I had so much fun spending time wtih everyone. We made smores and talked aroung the campfire. In the morning Tim and Callaway made Kandis and I breakfast =) Thanks boys! I can't wait to go next year!

Last Saturday my mom and I took my nephews, Austin, Jaron and Landon to the zoo. We got to see the new baby elephant, the baby giraffe, the baby tigers and snow leopards. It was a hot day for being the middle of september but most of the animals were still pretty active. I had a great time spending the day with the boys and my mom. I wish I got more family time!

We went camping a few weekends ago to celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday. On August 29th we threw him a Birthday BBQ at our house. All of the extended family and a few friends came to celebrate with him. Just wanted to say thank you Dad for everything you do for me! I am sooo lucky to have such a wonderful Dad. Friday August 28th we went to the Depot to celebrate Kan's 24th Birthday!!! Jamie who's has been gone for the summer stopped by and suprised everyone. Its was a great night with all of our friends! I hope all your birthday wished came true KK! I am thinking I know of one that did ;) Love you!

Sunday we went to the Bliss pool party. It was a pretty good party but I don't think I would go back to Bliss. It was too small and the drinks were very pricey. Good thing I am a light weight. LOL. But it was a great end to Kan's Birthday Weekend! Happy Birthday Best Friend!

4th of July in Vegas!

For 4th of July this year I went to Las Vegas. I drove down with Tim, Desiree, Kathy, Patricki, Eddie and Aly. Des has just turned 21 the month before so it was time to Partay! We stayed at the Summerbay Resorts right off the strip. We went to Tao Friday night, Tao Beach Saturday, The Palms Saturday, and went shopping Sunday. We also went and rode the Rollercoasters at the Stratosphere Sunday. (I watched :) There is no way that you could get me to ride those!) Sunday night we went to the New York New York and rode the rollercoaster. I had an amazing Vegas trip! I hope I get to go back soon! I love Vegas!

Family Reunion

My brother Brian came in town for our family reunion for my Mom's side of the family. Brian lives in North Carolina with his wife Jessi and my 6 month old nephew Hunter. We only have the reunion every 3-5 years. It was nice to see everyone and catch up with family. We went and race go carts and had a BBQ at my Aunt Julies. We also had everyone over at my parents for dinner one night. Can't wait to do it again!

In the beginning of May Felguk came to Salt Lake. Thanks to Patricki, Drew and Rob. They saw Felguk in California and got them to come to SLC for the first time. Since they stayed with Patricki for the week we showed them around town. They played at the Depot and the U of U radio show. Hopefully they will come back for their next US tour!

And it was pretty funny how we all wound up in dark dresses! Promise not planned :) LOL. We pregamed at Katie's and played beer pong! I am a horrible player! I think I only made it in once. After the club we went back to Vaughn and Katies. Desiree and I went to Chris and Phils after...but by time we showed up at 4am all the roommates were asleep. There were still a lot of people there but we got kicked out shortly after we got there! haha.

Soooo besides all the fun I have been having the last few months....there has been its fair share of drama. I have realized that I am very trusting of people. I love hanging out with everyone so sometimes I feel like I am blinded by certain people I let in my life. In the last month I realized that you are only as good as the company you keep. Sometimes I don't see when someone is untrustworthy or fake when I first meet them. Eventually in time I will see it. Sometimes it just takes someone opening my eyes to the truth before I start to notice it.

One of my new close friends was lying to me and the other people around us. She was shady with her friendship with me and her relationships with others. Let me just say that karma always comes back for you. I won't get into the whole situation but I think this has been a learning experience for me. I need to be more careful with the people I let in my life. I hate drama and I havent had sooo much drama in, well I can't even remember. So this is my goodbye....learn from your past, live in the present and look towards my future! And let me say it looks bright! UPGRADE! :)

VeGaS: RoUnD 2

I went to Vegas with my friends in the middle of April! I stayed at the Tropicana with Kandis, Callie, Big A, Callaway and Sam. We met up with a bunch of people that were staying in a house for Lil Ashley's birthday. We went to Tao Friday night and then I went pack to the house to after party with the boys. On the cab ride home Sam bought me, Callaway, Big A and our cab driver Willy Jack in the Box. $50 worth of fast food later we were all full and went back to our hotel to get some sleep!

On Saturday we went to the Hard Rock's pool. It was fun just dancing and playing in the pool. Everyone down there was way chill and fun to be around. We went to the Playboy Club at the Palms Saturday night.

On Sunday we went back to the Hard Rock for Rehab. Its there Sunday pool party. It was crazy fun! We had to leave early to get home because Kandis started her new job the next day. So unfortunately we didn't get to see snoop dog perform. Oh well! Still an amazing trip and I am trying to plan my next Vegas trip because I seriously love it there! Im in Las Vegas Bitch! :)

In the beginning of April I went to see 3Oh!3 with Kandis, Callie, Courtney, Callaway and Big A. It was an amazing concert! It was fun to just jump around and be crazy! 3Oh!3 has become one of favorite bands since last year. Most people know the Dont Trust Me song. But I recommend that you buy the album! I love every song!

Audree and I went to see Britney Spears at the Energy Solutions! The PussyCat Dolls opened up for her. It was such a fun concert! Everyone that knows me, knows how much I love Britney!!! I sang and danced the whole time! Loved it!

Bre came into town the easter weekend. I met Bre through my friend Tanner that now lives in New York. On Friday we all went to the depot. Saturday night I met them up in Park City to pregame. They had rented a town home. Then we went up to HarryOs for another one of the events Vaughn was promoting. After the club we went back to the town house and hung out till I was sober enough to go home. Oh but not before convincing the cab driver to take us to burger king and ordering food for 6 or 7 people! LOL.

The first weekend of month I scrapbook with all my friends. The first weekend of April we all took a road trip to visit Annie for her month in Las Vegas! On the way down Friday we got delayed when Jamie's tire blew out. They had to stop and put on the spare tire. Kandis and I were in our own car so we waited for them i Fillmore. While they got a new tire put on in Fillmore a snow storm hit. :( We drove in the worst storm! We couldn't even see the road....Luckily by time we hit past Cedar City it cleared up. It was very late by time we got to Annie's house so we all just went to bed.

On Saturday we woke up and scrapbooked all day. We went to club Tao on Saturday night. It was fun going out and dancing but it was way packed! So we decided to leave and go walk around. We stopped at Carnival Court, which is an outside bar on the strip. It was sooo much fun! Annie came and picked us up that night because she decided to skip the clubs. Thanks Annie for coming and getting us :)

Sunday we went to the MGM pool and layed out. It was nice to be in the warm weather! It was still freezing in Utah! Then we went home and ate dinner. We scrapbooked all night. Monday, Kandis and I went home. But before we left we all went to lunch with Jamie's friend that lived in Vegas. It was such a good trip! I can't wait for next year!

The Saturday night before my birthday we went to HarryOs. It was sooo much fun! All the girls wore black dresses for HarryOs monthly little black dress party....but since it was my birthday I wore pink. Lol. I had an amazing time with all my friends. Kandis, Callie, Callaway, Big A and I got a room up in Park City. Unfortunately we woke up to snow storm. We had to spend the next day eating pizza and going to see I love you Man before they would let us go down the Canyon. :)

On my birthday I went to Olive Garden for dinner with all of my friends. Then we went to Canyon Inn. It was the best birthday that I have had in a very long time! Thanks everyone! :)

Ever since you left me I have been trying to figure out what it means to have a life without you. I have tried to focus on myself and do what it takes for me to be happy. I have the best family and great friends and a really wonderful life. But still I wonder what my life would be like if you were still here......Sadly I keep finding out things I would rather not know. I lived in a life blinded by love for almost 5 years. You were everything to me. I would rather be with you then deal with the truth. No one ever wanted to tell me how you really were when you were alive...but now that your gone I have learned way too much. The lies break my heart over and over. I wish that I could just remember you with the good memories I have. Instead I am reminded all the time how stupid I was to be with you. And even though I really want to miss you and remember the sweet things....I am filled with anger. You broke me. Because of our relationship I dont know if I can truely trust someone or ever feel like there is someone out there that can truely love me. Its not fair to you for me to feel this way towards you. Last Thursday I went to the Jazz vs. the Celtics! It was an amazing game! We won by 5 points. We were behind the whole game until the 4th quarter! I went with Callie, Steven and one of his friends...The only bad thing was that I decided to park at the gateway.....It took me an hour to get out! Lol. I will need to remember not to park there anymore!

Friday night I went to the Hotel with CC. It was a great night....getting into some trouble as always. But I had a fun night! Yay for heartbreakers and troublemakers!

Friday night I went to Huka with Kandis and Callie. Katie was our server. It was definately a good night even though my throat was killing me the next morning! Next time I will have to lay it easy on the huka! LOL.
I always find it funny to realize how small utah is. We ran into a bunch a different groups of friends but everyone wound up knowing each other. Very Random.

Saturday night I went to HarryO's with Callie. Our friend Zack got a table and Callies friend owns an entertainment company that was hosting that night. We partied all night like the troublemakers we are. There is a reason I call her my partner in crime.... :) I hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day! I was a little worried that I was going to take it hard without Adam. But with a positive attitude and great friends I made it. Still missing you.

This year was the first year I went to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival. My friend Edgar from work got a condo up in PC with his friends. Kan, Callie and I tagged along for the fun. This new years I went to Lumpy's with all the girls. Heather's brother Jake got us Vip. Then Kandis and I went to an after party with some friends. All in all was excited for the new year. 2008 was the hardest year of my life. I learned hard life lessons about losing people you love and growing older. This year I want to focus on me. I haven't been able to not worry about someone else in so long. I am people pleaser. I hate confrintation and I always want the people around me to be happy. But I have learned that you can not always make everyone else happy. This year I am going to be the person I want to be through my actions. I want to do what I think is right because in the end I have to be able to wake up in the morning and like the person I see in the mirror. Well heres to a new year....Yay for 2009!

Hunter Daniel was born today in North Carolina. It is my brother Brian's first born. Brian and Jessie are so excited. I flew out today with my mom to spend the week with them. Hunter was 10 pounds 4 ounces. He was 22 inches long. He wasn't wanting to come out so Jessie was induced this morning. After 13 hours of labor they did a c section. Brian is very proud that Hunter was bigger than Austin. (Seans first born) However I dont know how Jessie feels about this....My brothers....Having their wives do all the work!

Last week I went to Richfield with Jess. Its only 2 and half hours away from salt lake but it seems like a completely different world. I love the small town even though I am a city girl at heart. Its nice to get out of the fast paced city where I feel so stressed at times. I can forget the things that are holding me down and just have fun. We did brodies and shot guns! Its one of the those small towns where people stop to say hello and everyone grew up together....Trust me when I say I will be going back to Richfield very soon :)

Last Friday Jess and I decided to get new tattoos at Big Deluxe. Callie came to watch us but decided to joinin on the fun! I love mine! It reminds me to live for the things I believe in. That happiness and my own beliefs are important....And living with Love is the only way that I can be happy.

On Saturday night I went to Kristaufs and Lumpys with my friends. My cousin Andrew was in town with his girlfriend Erin so we went and hung out with the Murray Boys after the bars.

This last week I have been in New York spending time with my friend Tanner and his roomies Craig and Ali. I had the best time! I went to a ton of restraunts and clubs. I saw Spring Awakening and FuerzaBruta. Both were amazing shows! Nothing you would ever see in Utah...I loved just hanging out with friends and dancing to Britney. On Friday September 12 I got my cross tattoo in memory of Adam James Baucum. I will never forget the good memories I had. Life is too short. I plan on living my life without regret. Taking chances. This last weekend I went to Vegas for Labor Day. I thought that I would be happier out of Salt Lake City. But I am slowly learning that you can not run away from your problems. I has fun and I was drunk 80% of the time.....But you still cant earse the past. I still miss him every day. Its hard being strong. I feel like I am pretending every day of my life. My mind is always running a million miles an hour. I feel like I am going to breakdown any second. I loved vegas but maybe I wasnt ready. I wish that it was a year ago. I would be sitting in my condo with the love of my life. I was happy. Really happy. We would get take out and rent movies...I was so comfortable. I was living my dream. And now I am alone. Sad. I hope this gets easier.

Well anyways, in vegas...I went with Kandis, Tommy and Shawn. We stayed at Excalibur. We went to the Ghost Bar and Rain the first night. The second day we swam, went to the Espn Bar, Coyote Ugly and celebrated Kan's birthday at Midnight. Sunday we swam again and went to Pure. Im way happy to be home....I hope everyone had a great Labor Day. Im sad Summer is almost over....But maybe fall and winter will fit my mood better.

Adam James Baucum, born in Salt Lake City, UT on November 6, 1980 passed away August 16, 2008. Adam graduated with honors from the U of U with a B.S. degree in accounting in 2004. He enjoyed get togethers with his family, nights out with his brother, his dog Jazzy, trips to Cabo, and wheeling in Moab. Adam was loved very much by his family and all who knew him. We will miss his presence deeply. Adam is survived by his father, Michael Baucum; mother, Susan (Mike) Lister; brothers, Austin Baucum, Tyler Lister; sister, Quincy Lister Sherman; nephew, Maddix Baucum; Gran (Patricia Baucum) and Grandaddy (Jim Baucum); girlfriend, Heather; Aunt Lori (Jami), Uncle Steve, Aunt Teresa, Josel and Dannie Jo, and the list goes on. I have learned that you never get time back. Cherish every moment. You may never get it back. I will never get back any of those moments with you. I can only remember them and pray that god doesn't let me forget them. There isn't one thing that I can look at that doesnt remind me of you. I miss everything. Your smile. Your laugh. Your touch. Your voice...everything. I guess I can only take one day at a time.
I just wanted to say goodbye. Tell you that Im sorry for the mistakes Ive made. The words Ive said. The things that seem so small now. I would tell you that through everything you were still everything to me. That I truely loved you with all my heart. that I would have given you anything. You once said that you loved me enough that you would let me go. And that you wanted me to be happy and have everything I ever wanted. Even if it wasnt with you because you couldnt give me the things I wanted. I wouldnt let you. Because I wanted you. I tried to fight for you. But I couldnt fight for things unless you wanted them too.
You gave me so much. You gave me memories and lessons of a lifetime. You saw me at my worst and best. We made mistakes together...we went through good times and bad.....but we always made it. We fought for each other. I would look at other couples that broke up and I was proud of us. The relationship that we builded together. Even when we would break up for a few weeks I always thought we would get back together....that you just needed to hit the bottom. You would realize that the superficial things in life were not as special as the relationships you build and the love you share.....I have lost all my dreams for us. The home we would share...the children we would have had...growing old together.
Now I face reality and that is that I am on my own. I have no other choice. I have to be strong. I have to build new dreams. live a new life. Make new relationships. You mom told me that I can meet someone new and that you wont hate me. that I can live my life and you will still be there...and be happy that I am happy. That I can take you with me through my life and you will be there. Its soo scary being on my own...I try not to cry. I try to pretend to be okay. I am just trying to live. There isnt a right way or a wrong way to deal with this pain.....I know you are happy and that you found the peace that you were looking for. I am happy that you have. I will live through this pain so that you can be okay. So that you dont have to live in this world of pain.
I hope I see you one day again. I hope I hear your voice and that we will be in heaven together. Where there is no more death. Just peace. We will talk about our memories together. We will laugh and cry. I would trade anything in my whole existance to see you. I hope you can hear my thoughts and prayers. I hope you forgive me for not being there. For letting you down.

This weekend was sooo much fun! I went out on Thursday with Ashley and Kandis to Greenstreet.

Friday night I went to Port O Call with Kandis, my partner in crime, Heather, Bridgett, Kelli and Carly. It was a crazy night. I saw Edgar from work and Candice. It sucked because we couldnt go upstairs but we made the most of it. Carly and Kelli went to the hotel. After we all met up at Dennys downtown. One word. Scary.

On Saturday night I went to Jade's bachelorette party. I tagged along with Kandis, Courtney, Aimee and Michele. It was lots of fun. Kandis finally got wasted after 2 failed nights! Haha. It was great! And to top it off I saw my first male stripper. I've never laughed or been scared more in my life!

Then we went to an after party where all the other girls boyfriends and hubbys were. It was really fun!

Breaking up is always hard to do....I miss him every day. I realized that I have been trying to save something that is not worth saving. There's a point in a relationship where you can never turn back. Where trust is broken and bridges have burned. He will always be my first love. My first relationship. And the first person I gave everything to. He was my world. I feel like I going off to college or something....Starting a new chapter in my life. I'm a little scared but I know I am strong. I deserve to be happy and to smile. Falling in love was one of the best things in my life. It was one of the first times I put something before myself. I learned a lot. Falling out of love, Im still working on. I worry about him all the time. I hope he is taking good care of himself. And its one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am trying to learn to think with my head instead of my heart. My heart says to forgive but my head says its had enough. I feel like I have an addiction to his smile, his face, his voice. Everything. But I'm tired of getting hurt and not being happy. I'm ready to get better. I'm starting over.

Today I went swimming with Tyana. I was in need of a best friend day. lol. Nothing but talking about clothes, gossip, and fun. Every now and than you need a day to lay out by the pool and just hang out! It was a blast. After hanging out by the pool we went to Ts and watched Good Luck Chuck. Perfect Chick Flick. Then we met up with Jess and fed the birds in Sugarhouse Park. They looked like they were ready to ATTACK. :) I'm LOVING my summer every day.

We had a great Fathers Day! On Fathers day my parents were coming home from our Yellowstone trip so we celebrated the following Sunday. We had Sean and his family, my grandma and my aunt Cathy over for a bbq. My brother Brian, my Mom and I went in on a gift for my dad. We got him a ipod dock. On Fathers Day we went to Adams grandparents to see all of his family. We had steaks and everyone just caught up. I hope my dad knows how much I love and appreciate him! Happy Fathers Day!

Yellowstone Family Vacation

I just got home from Yellowstone National Park with my family. It was a wonderful trip. We saw a ton of animals including buffalo, elk, a moose, a black bear, and a few grizzly bears. We went to see the Old Faithful, Mammoth hot springs and all the other sites. I had a great time but I am definately happy to back home :)

In January:

We rang in the 2008 with Gran and Grandad. We went to Carvers for dinner and then went home to spend the New Year together. We also went to the opening of Adam's Dad
's sports bar, Batters Up.

In February:

Adam and I celebrated Valentines Day. He sent me the most beautiful roses and we went to Carvers (our place). He got me a new Ipod for the gym and I got him some new clothes.

In March:

I went to Rascal Flatts with Britney. I have to admit I liked seeing them more the year before since I was right by the stage. But it was still a ton of fun! I loved when the marines came out...It really made my night....Love you Brian!

I also celebrated St Pattys Day with the Girls at Greenstreet.

I helped host Audree's 31st Birthday Party with Shiree. It was fun watching my brother and Audree not acting like grown ups. LOL.

We also went to Good Things Utah on Audree's Birthday.

And to finish off March I celebrated my 23rd Birthday at Port O Call! I'm getting so old!
